  • A little suggestion

I can't use the Google Chrome plugin to link directly. I can only use the first link on the windows side and then use the plugin to use the dual proxy. This means that the plugin on the chorme side is useless. Is it that I didn't use the right method or the plugin itself is not perfect? I hope to get your improvement.
  • App locks up a lot

I manually disable and enable VPN many times a day. Sometimes launch Windscribe launches into a busy state where I can't tap the button to toggle the VPN. I have to turn on Airplane mode, launch the app again, wait, then finally turn off the VPN. It's frustrating when I need to do this everyday.

I am using the Windscribe for a year, for half a year the full version. No doubt that it is the best VPN service I have used. The only concern is that it does not work with some Wifis that force open port and it simply hangs out on GSM from time to time (you have to log out and log in again). The support responds quickly but what they promise (to fix these bugs) is not happening. You can live with it but... JB
  • Not a reliable VPN

It’s full of bugs. You can get a day of hassle free surfing and then, with no apparent reason it won’t connect and there’s no option to kill the attempting connection so the only option is to log out and then log back in every time you need the VPN. I have been 2-3 hours disconnected from a LTE Network without noticing it, because of this issue. Then I realize the VPN is not connected and go through the process again.
  • Slow updating of app.

The VPN has good speed and privacy. I would like to see the app support Open VPN, instead of IKEv2, for greater security. Also, a landscape mode would be appreciated. Update: Please don't lie to your users. I'm sure you know that IKEv2 was on Snowden's list as potentially compromised by the US government. Please at least provide Open VPN support within the app, as an option. Update 2: An update without the security boost equals another docked star. Update 3: Who's implementation of IKEv2 are you using? And how long do your PFS keys last for? None of this still addresses Snowden's claim that a number of backdoors and side channel key leaking mechanisms may have been implemented into the protocol. Update 4: The VPN now turns off when the iOS device goes into sleep mode. You're going backwards with your updates. Please fix this. This still has yet to be fixed, for multiple updates. Update 5: Your newest update automatically logged users out of the accounts. People were left without VPN protection. Another poor update!

I’m in China, using a VPN on my iPad to get to Google products (blocked by the gov’t). At first Windscribe worked, although connecting often required a lot of fiddling, e.g. turning it on and off, turning VPN on and off in settings, etc. Then something happened, possibly an update, and it forgot my login and PW. I looked in Passwords, but nothing listed there. Tried logging in with my login/password as I’d written it down, but either the login failed or I got an API Connectivity Error (-1001). Tried a hard reboot, then removed & reinstalled, but it still doesn’t work. I’d try a password reset, but use Gmail, so can’t use it to get a reset message. Now it is possible I wrote down the password incorrectly, but I also tried an old free account, and it wouldn’t login either. So try the free version and see if you can live with the flakiness before paying.

Hi app & services are awesome. You guys just need to work on battery usage. From few days i am noticing extra battery usage when vpn is active. Although an update came but battery issue is still there. Fix it & it will be perfect ;)

When it works it's great. Unfortunately in the past few months, and especially since iOS 12, the app requires constant logging out and restarting in order to get a connection back. Please fix this. It's super annoying.
