Thanks for your support. ◆ Fire Emblem Heroes doesn’t stand still—the game powers up in big ways, thanks to new in-game events and new options for strengthening your allies, letting you create your ultimate team of Heroes. We hope you'll try all of the modes this game has to offer. Choose your Heroes and join the fight! --------------------- Nintendo's hit strategy-RPG Fire Emblem series, which has been going strong for more than 25 years, continues its journey on smart devices. Fight battles customized for touch screens and on-the-go play. Summon characters from across the Fire Emblem universe. Develop your Heroes' skills, and take them to new heights. This is your adventure—a Fire Emblem that's like nothing you've seen before! This application is free to download and offers some optional in-app purchases. ■ An epic quest The game features an ongoing, original story where new characters and dozens upon dozens of battle-tested Heroes from across the Fire Emblem universe meet. There are over 500 story stages available as of April 2018! (This total includes all difficulty modes.) Clear these story stages and you'll earn Orbs, which are used for summoning Heroes. New story chapters are added frequently, so don't miss out! ■ Intense battles Take part in strategic turn-based battles streamlined for on-the-go play with maps that fit in the palm of your hand! You'll need to think hard about the advantages and disadvantages of each Hero's weapon...and even evaluate the map itself as you battle. Lead your army with easy touch-and-drag controls, including the ability to attack by simply swiping an ally over an enemy. New to strategic turn-based battles? Don't worry! Use the Auto-Battle option to have your characters fight on their own. ■ Strengthen your favorite Heroes There are many ways to strengthen your allies: leveling, skills, weapons, equipable items, and more. Take your characters to greater and greater heights as you battle for victory. ■ Replayable modes In addition to the main story, there are many other modes where you can strengthen your allies, compete against other players, and more. ■ Original characters meet legendary Heroes The game features numerous Hero characters from the Fire Emblem series and brand-new characters created by artists Yusuke Kozaki and Shigeki Maeshima. Some Heroes will fight at your side as allies, while others may stand in your way as fierce enemies to be defeated and added to your army. * Internet connectivity required to play. I can’t merge or send home my 4 star heroes for some reason and now I have 15 or so duplicates, missing tons of hero feathers, and no way to get rid of them
  • Awful, just awful

I’ve repeatedly tried to get into this game, and am officially giving up. Appearances to the contrary, this is neither an RPG nor a strategy game. Your characters are almost entirely interchangeable aside from their little portraits and cardboard backstories (premised largely on other FE games), and their character development seems entirely randomized around a series of basic stats. Nor does the game even respect its own combat system — after leading you through endless training, story, and “tactics” levels, it spits you out into an endgame where even maxed out 5 star level 40 characters are easily one shot by even generic enemies, regardless of buffs, defensive terrain, and the game’s idiotic “rock-paper-scissors” character color technique. Attempts to reinforce your teams through the game’s character summoning feature are another study in frustration, routinely spitting out multiple low level trash copies of the same characters you already have and that are already proven not up to the task. Maybe someday you can merge them to slightly upgrade skills or stats, but who cares? Ultimately, you have to ask yourself what you want in a game: do you want something fun that you can play in your spare time, or do you want something that requires 12+ hours a day of grinding just so you can reach the end stage where all your characters feel weaker than when they started. What an incredible waste of time.

This app is honestly the best app on the App Store. I’ve had it since the day it released. It’s a free to play game that legit requires no money and you can beat it without spending a penny (crazy, right?). They update it a lot, give a generous amount of orbs frequently and always add new units. The only thing to be wary of is the ever growing power creep that is starting to hurt some of the og units. But aside from that this game is essentially perfect and a must have for everybody.
  • A lot of fun!
