I HONESTLY REALLY LOVE THIS GAME BECAUSE IT KEEPS ME ENTERTAINED AND IT HELPS ME CALM DOWN. WOULD 100% RECOMMEND.
  • Okay to play if you want to pay.

Just like many others have stated, it’s extremely fun to play. I love playing when I have free time to. It’s just frustrating when you cannot do anything and are given the alternative to pay to play. It’s playable without paying, yes, but not if you want to move along at a steady pace. Feel extremely slow.

The game is different but I find the chargers to buy and do any upgrading stops you dead in your tracks. I have deleted the game because there is no way to win stones you have to purchase and the cost is out of line. I would rather buy a game and play without all the extra purchases.
  • Micro transaction hell

No Significant way to earn gems outside of giving out lots of cash. Do not recommend game at all. Sick of games that can only advance past a certain point if you do micro-transactions. Can’t get past my current point with out buying gems. Not spending cash...
  • Typical Zynga game -hurry up and wait, wait, wait

Looks so promising in the ads. But all about getting to do very little while various meters refill. I’ve played 1 day and it has already slowed to 5 minutes play then wait 20 minutes. Does your life revolve around checking in to your favorite game every 20 minutes? Then you will like this game! Do you like to spend money to enjoy a game? Lots of money? Then this could be perfect for you. I will stop playing soon.

The game is fun and it will pass the time unless your dragons aren’t sleeping. The only real way to progress in the game is if you spend real cash to buy gems. The gems will allow you to open locked chests, buy certain eggs, buildable items, and other miscellaneous items that contribute to your progression. The price of the gems is quite ridiculous. I’ve got about 10 chest right now I can’t open any of them unless I’m willing to spend $19.99-$99.99 for the gems. I’ve only got about 11 gems left, which means I am stuck.
  • Fun game. Slow recharge.

This is one of my favorite games. It’s fun, and it’s a good mix of difficulty levels. Some easy. Some not so much. Building up your home camp is like an extended version of the levels at a slower pace. Other reviews stated that the dragons will automatically “mine” items that are lower level, which yield other lower-level items. Higher level items will yield higher level items that are more useful. However, double tapping on any item will cause the dragons to mine it (aside from items like chests or ones you collect like coins, bricks, and hearts). Issues: -The amount of time it takes to earn the chalices, which are spent to play levels. More difficult levels cost more chalices. These recharge, gaining you one every hour, or you can watch an ad (usually 30 secs) to earn one chalice. There seems to be a limit to how many ads you can watch in a day, however. Either chalices should recharge a bit quicker or ads should be unlimited. Also, it would be nice if you only had to pay chalices for a level once. There are more rewards to gain from replaying levels at a higher difficulty, but of course you need to spend more chalices to do it. -There need to be more opportunities to earn purple gems. You need purple gems to open some chests or purchase certain items, and chances to earn them without spending any money are few and far between. If opening a chest guaranteed to give you items that are useful or higher level, perhaps spending actual money would be easier to swallow. Since you never know what a chest will spit out, it’s hard to justify spending money to end up with a chest that only gives you low-level items that you already have about 30 of. Overall, I recommend this game. My kids enjoy it as well. The levels themselves are fun, and the graphics are beautiful.

I really love this game. The only thing is I wish there was more time on the special islands. This is my favorite game. Love my dragons!!!!!!
  • Fun game, events too short

I get it. In game events are really just revenue drivers for the developer. They give special limited time rewards for meeting goals in the short live time allotted for the event. Still, I’d love to actually clear a map at least once. That just won’t happen without spending gobs of real world cash. Sorry devs. I play this for game for a fun diversion, not to fulfill some unmet need in my life. I spend my money on other trivialities like food, mortgage, clothing, kids’ schooling. And why does this game require massive amounts of processor time? My phone is a hand warmer when I’m done with a session.
