I have a Plan-to-Eat subscription for several years, and I LOVE it! Truly the very best thing that has happened to my cooking/meal planning life! It would be impossible for me to overstate how much I appreciate and depend upon PTE in my day-to-day, week-to-week life as the family cook! The app is very nice except for two important things: 1) Sometimes it simply fails to open. There will just be a blank white screen. That is very frustrating. Thankfully I have it bookmarked in my browser, so I can work around it that way, but it is still a hassle. 2) In the app I lose the little letters indicating which recipe each item on the shopping list is for. So if I just want to dash into a store to pick up ingredients for one recipe, the app is of no use (once again I have to go in through my browser). The people behind PTE have always been very responsive and committed to improving the user experience, so I am sure they will work to resolve these issues.

Been a plan to eat user for years and was super excited when an app came out to accompany it. Not perfect, but we are finding it pretty user friendly.

I really love this app. I had previously been using “Spinning Meals”, but when my old phone died, and the developer stopped updating after iOS10, I not only lost the app, but all the recipes that I had collected. I downloaded “Big Oven” which was a thorough waste of time and deleted it after a few days. Then I found “Plan to Eat”. It is extremely intuitive, easy to understand, and much more efficient than anything else I’ve seen.

I love this app! The key to eating healthy is to have a plan and this tool is the best one I’ve found for making that as easy as possible. I should mention I’m a nutritionist and a bit obsessed with tools of this kind. Thank you Plan to Eat for creating this app!

If you like to meal prep, save money, and time, this is the app for you! My wife and I love using this app, helps us meal prep throughout the week, and also save our recipes! We love to see the visual menu and the shopping list that we don’t have to think about!

I love how easy to use this is! Recipes import well from the web and the list pops up in my app and it's just a huge help for a chore I hate and has always been difficult for me!

You've got to be kidding. It will take hundreds of hours to load recipes. Without pre loaded recipes this app it's useless, and you changed for it, 3x what is says in the app. It's not $18.99 annually, it's near $40. Why lie, why the difference?

I have tried email planning a thousand ways but THIS is the app I’ve always envisioned! So easy to use and covers all the areas where I fail at meal planning!

I like this app, it replaced one that I was using for years and had many recipes saved in. I signed up for a sub because the UI is pleasant and adding to your recipe list is 98% of the time hassle free. With that being said I do with that certain things were made available as detailed below. I would like to see the option to add your own tags aside from choosing simply from the limited amount of ones available. I would also like for the shopping list feature to be a bit more polished instead of saying one clove of garlic twice on the list I wish that it could be combined automatically when a group of recipes are added to a list. Another app did that but I don’t remember which one. All in all it’s a good recipe saving app. Could be better. I hope it only continues to go up from here.
