  • Great on Iphone but crashes on Ipad

Exceeds my expectations in plant identification on iphone. App is right on, just take the picture of plant and like magic the correct id along with additional info shows up almost instantly. ipad version not so much.
  • Not accurate so far

    By Trickniks
Disappointed. Started with plants I already know, and it didn’t even list them as suggestions! Had to manually enter the names for them to pop up. Will update if it gets better. **Edit to respond to below: I find the developer response extremely condescending. I watched all your tutorials, I framed the pictures properly ( you can even look at my account), I WANTED this to work! Of course I’m going to give the app the best shot at succeeding. It literally was inaccurate and I had to manually match the ones I already knew, hoping to help the app get more accurate for other people. So, you’re welcome for that. Maybe skip the assumptions that everyone who gets inaccurate reads is an idiot.

I know the feedback is that this app only works when the user is competent but I’ll point out that a lot of people take great pictures with cameras and have no idea about the theories behind photography. I went around my backyard with 10 known plants and this app got 5 out of ten right. I took several different shots with the “misses” and they never got identified correctly. Yesterday I Snapped wild Violets in the yard and got some obscure result. Save your money if you really need this for helping you identify plants and you intend to order $100s if plants online - because it’s just not that accurate. Buy it if you like testing the apps reliability with known plants.
  • Love This App

I so enjoy being able to identify trees and shrubs around me. Best app if its kind. Accurate enough to be very helpful.
  • Very Helpful

Just moved to a different state. This is really helpful in identifying unfamiliar species. Not 100% accurate, but it offers alternatives and the right one is usually easy to find.
  • Not accurate

    By Momwithteens
I was so hopeful but tried it on a few plants in my garden - very common like sweet potato vine and all inaccurate
  • Very useful

I use this all the time
  • So inaccurate as to be useless

    By jwgd kcidvdb
I've tried a slew of leaves and blossoms of plants in Eastern New England, perfectly framed. This app has about a 10% hit rate and, when it's wrong, which is most of the time, it's wildly off. Even a novice like me can tell the result looks nothing like the actual picture i submitted. I even sent some photos through for identification; one came back correct, 2 others never got a response. Not worth the time to download.
  • Seldom accurate

When I first downloaded the app last year it actually gave me several accurate identifications. Since those initial successes, there have been none. It is never accurate.
  • Terrible

Everything I search for they can’t find or they don’t know. Wish I could cancel and get my money back.
