Idk what people complain about. This app wins.
  • An unmitigated disaster

    By hamovik
Where to start... Live feeds of races will sometimes not work. Archive videos will sometimes not work. Airplay is missing. Mirroring no longer works because the app has no landscape mode!!!! No Apple TV app. Do not subscribe, our you’ll be throwing your money away. If you have subscribed, contact iTunes support and they will refund your money for this disaster of an app/service.
  • issues galore

i just got a weird email saying a charge didn’t go through. my bank says different. the app (of course) is crashing, so i can’t check that. i contact support and they ask for ID details that seem excessive. (apparently there’s no way to look anything up without a DOB and address details.) sounds mad fishy. but the way this app has been run...falls in line. and the app is back up and says my subscription is fine. so no replys to creepy billing emails.

Paid $100 just not be able to use it in the U.S.
  • Poor content and customer service

If you live in the United States don’t purchase the annual subscription. There is not any refund once you use the app one time. Also, the content is not available as often as the free WatchESPN App.
  • Oftentimes doesn’t even launch.

I open the tv app and sit there and watch the wheel turn but no videos. Tested on iPhone X (on home high-speed WiFi) as well as iPad Pro. Latest iOS version and latest app update. Kinda lame programming for the money imo.
  • Ok, needs improvement

My first experience watching the China race was overall good. However, video did lock up a couple of times and I had to restart, fortunately did not miss anything critical. Wish it would support airplay until the Apple TV app is developed (hopefully very soon). Have to use screen mirroring to Apple TV to display on television. But see limitation below. Also, the app is portrait mode oriented, screen does not rotate when device is. This means that many of the videos will display on the television in portrait orientation, but landscape for the actual video, so they are sideways. Fortunately, the “live“ video does rotate both on the device and the screen mirror, So I am able to watch the on television “normal“
  • Unreliable streaming service

Sometimes everything works great, but more often then not I have trouble getting a solid stream. Also, there is no Chromecast support. Many other video apps can do this, why not the F1 app?
  • F1 TV App without having an actual TV App.

How ironic, considering this app in any version or format doesn’t offer an app that can be used with a TV, nothing on Android for Roku, Fire TV etc and of course neither for Apple TV, and this is after 1 year since the initial launch. If you really had to launch something in a hurry, should have made a free beta so you don’t have people like me paying for an annual subscription while beta testing this mess and hoping we’ll see it on TV one day going through an entire year with nothing. Would not recommend spending money on this till there is a credible Apple TV app, which has better navigation functions and play back functions.
