  • Can’t be lie e what I paid for this...

    By Patandcat
Can’t believe I paid 174.00 bucks for an app that won’t boor, freezes, and crashes all the time. It’s fine when it works, but that’s almost never. I need something that works fast!!

I have used this app for years. It used to be a great app for medications, calculators and tables. This new version is so, so bad. It crashes every time I open it. When it is working, before the crash, it is cumbersome to use and time consuming. I used the app for all of 10 minutes before I became disgusted with it’s performance. The old version was way better. Will need to look for another app since this is so bad now.
  • A bit of a pain

The way this app updates data when you go to use it, is a Pia. The alerts in the way when I go to search for something specific, are a bit annoying as well. PK levels and timing don't seem to be there. I switched to Medscape and was instantly surprised at the entire concept and great information.
  • Great App

I’m a pharmacist and I’ve been using Epocrates for years. I first started because it was free. It was and I believe, still is,the best app for drug information available for free. While I was practicing I upgraded for a while but now I’m retired and the free version is fine although if I had the money I would definitely upgrade to at least have the information on OTC meds! Thanks Epocrates
  • I like it

    By hemicgarger
This has been an incredibly useful app that I’ve relied on for more than 15 years. I probably use it a dozen times each week. Like every thing else in the world, it isn’t perfect but it is the useful source I use in medical practice
  • Love

I love this app! I find it’s money well spent to have the full subscription. I wish there was a way to get CEU credit through reading the topics and updates though!
  • Great app, user friendly. Bring back DDX!

    By KMac0000
FM here. Love Epocrates! This is a great app-I use it nearly daily to check medications, med interactions/SEs, pill pictures, etc. I also check the news feed quite regularly which is very helpful to stay up-to-date. And it’s user friendly. I wish they would bring the differential diagnosis tab back!
  • Great info, poor app

    By Lunash
The current version gets frozen every time I try to open it! Many similar problems with the app over the past few months! And the fact that you get a notification screen on every start up when the app DOES work is a pain and really slows down its use. What a shame!
  • Perfect, except....

    By BigCountry301
The app would be perfect if that news feed did not open every time I open the app. Sometimes, I am in a rush because I’m juggling patients. There should be a way to change that in the settings. We receive plenty of journals and newsfeeds from other sources. App developer please listen, we don’t purchase your app for newsfeeds. Aside from that one issue, this app is a great utility for the med student, resident or seasoned physician. I highly highly recommend it to all of my colleagues
  • Notification page

    By Ericka Karen
I could do without the automatic notification page.
