WhatsApp Messenger for PC Description

WhatsApp Messenger is a FREE messaging app available for iPhone and other smartphones. WhatsApp uses your phone's Internet connection (4G/3G/2G/EDGE or Wi-Fi, as available) to let you message and call friends and family. Switch from SMS to WhatsApp to send and receive messages, calls, photos, videos, and Voice Messages. WHY USE WHATSAPP: • NO FEES: WhatsApp uses your phone's Internet connection (4G/3G/2G/EDGE or Wi-Fi, as available) to let you message and call friends and family, so you don't have to pay for every message or call.* There are no subscription fees to use WhatsApp. • MULTIMEDIA: Send and receive photos, videos, and Voice Messages. • FREE CALLS: Call your friends and family for free with WhatsApp Calling, even if they're in another country.* WhatsApp calls use your phone's Internet connection rather than your cellular plan's voice minutes. (Note: Data charges may apply. Contact your provider for details. Also, you can't access 911 and other emergency service numbers through WhatsApp). • GROUP CHAT: Enjoy group chats with your contacts so you can easily stay in touch with your friends or family. • WHATSAPP WEB: You can also send and receive WhatsApp messages right from your computer's browser. • NO INTERNATIONAL CHARGES: There's no extra charge to send WhatsApp messages internationally. Chat with your friends around the world and avoid international SMS charges.* • SAY NO TO USERNAMES AND PINS: Why bother having to remember yet another username or PIN? WhatsApp works with your phone number, just like SMS, and integrates seamlessly with your phone's existing address book. • ALWAYS LOGGED IN: With WhatsApp, you're always logged in so you don't miss messages. No more confusion about whether you're logged in or logged out. • QUICKLY CONNECT WITH YOUR CONTACTS: Your address book is used to quickly and easily connect you with your contacts who have WhatsApp so there's no need to add hard-to-remember usernames. • OFFLINE MESSAGES: Even if you miss your notifications or turn off your phone, WhatsApp will save your recent messages until the next time you use the app. • AND MUCH MORE: Share your location, exchange contacts, set custom wallpapers and notification sounds, email chat history, broadcast messages to multiple contacts at once, and more! *Data charges may apply. Contact your provider for details. --------------------------------------------------------- We're always excited to hear from you! If you have feedback, questions, or concerns, please email us at: [email protected] or follow us on twitter: http://twitter.com/WhatsApp @WhatsApp --------------------------------------------------------- Note: WhatsApp is a telephony app, so iPod and iPad are not supported devices.

WhatsApp and is very good 4 me to contact my friends and family. It doesn’t cost that much money and I can text to any place I want. So I like WhatsApp 4 these reasons.
  • Disappointed by the lack of companion apps.

    By MIGerlag97
I recently purchased my first Apple Watch and then discovered that WhatsApp doesn’t have a Watch companion app, you can only see incoming notifications and only reply to those notifications, that’s it, there’s no way to start a new chat or read the rest of the chat feed or anything like that. The watch has been out for over 3 years now, come on guys, there’s no excuse, it’s time to make it happen. When I emailed the support team asking them if a Watch app would ever be in the works, I received a bunch of generic replies with no real answer, and then I was outright ignored. All I wanted was a simple YES, we’re thinking about it, it may come in the future or NO, we just don’t care. From what I have seen with other reviews about people contacting your support team with other issues also getting generic replies, repeating the situation over and over with no real answer, shows me that the support team is incapable of reading user feedback, understanding it and replying accordingly, they are a bunch of incompetent bots that are giving WhatsApp a bad reputation in my eyes. (The reason I’m giving this 2 stars) I’m also disappointed that there’s no first-party properly integrated WhatsApp Web app for the iPad so that I can use WhatsApp whilst I’m using my iPad like I do with WhatsApp Web on the desktop, without jumping through hoops. ——Previous review. (Late 2017)—— I once complained about the chat backup and restore process, this was about a year ago, I haven't used the feature since but I had to transfer my WhatsApp account to another iPhone today and I'm pleased to see that it has undergone extensive reworking and I have to say I'm very impressed, it was always such a hassle having to wait for it to download 500mb+ and not being able to do anything else while it downloads, now it restores the minimum and then allows you into the app to carry on using it whilst it continues to download the rest of the chat history. Very well executed, I'm very pleased, great job! That deserves 5 stars in my book 👌🏻 All I ask of you guys now is to make a proper app for the iPad, even if it uses WhatsApp web, but something legit from you guys that works properly on the iPad That would be great 👍🏻 And maybe allow for different themes in WhatsApp, I sometimes get tired of the constant white everything, a dark mode would be cool, or even a color change option to make it look something like that android app with the green bar on top or something. But otherwise I'm very pleased with the app. ——END OF PREVIOUS REVIEW——

  • Scheduled Messages

In the middle of the night have you ever remembered something important that you need to tell to someone but it’s too late to message them. When you wake up in the morning you have already forgotten about the message. I think it will be a great idea for WhatsApp to introduce a feature where you can delay a message to be sent at a specific date and time to a specific person. Don’t you think?
  • New update.

    By Lis💁🏻
I have used whatsapp for the longest time now i have no complaints about that. BUT, this new update is just driving me crazy. I CANNOT stand the sticker button RIGHT next to the typing. It will pop up instead of the letter keyboard amd its annoying. I would recommend WhatsApp but this sticker pop up is annoying. Please do something about it.
