OK so I want to start this app not because I think the app is horrible and I hate it actually kind a like it there’s one thing about it is really aggravating I’ve never attempted to submit a rendering of anything that I transcribed into tablature so I don’t know what the process is but based on some of the completely in accurate version is that I’ve seen on this app it seems to me that there is little to no qualifying process so I use this app as nothing more than a quick introduction to song I’ve never played mama I’ll open it check out the chords close the app I’ve been playing guitar for 30 years roughly so I’m not looking for a instructional or tutorial type of an app, However I imagine a lot of people using this are looking for that and so could be steered in the completely wrong direction and even in my case I can play all forms of guitar as far as positions in a band lineup rhythm ,lead ,but these days mainly what I do is acoustic duo and acoustic solo stuff and sing...you know stripped down performances at either private parties or restaurants on the water out on the dock that sort of thing and I am a Singer/ songwriter so play my music and m singing has always been part of my guitar playing repertoire and playing covers on an acoustic by yourself while you sing is in most cases and extremely simplified version of the song (some songs are already very simplified just in the way they are written )but I generally will take root chords And discard any sevenths ninths or augments or whatever unless it is absolutely crucial to maintaining the signature of the song. But I mean I would think that there could be some software I got 100% positive that they’re already is software that does this kind of thing but something that would do a really quick scan of the web searching for official versions of the songs to compare any potential submissions just qualify and no one predetermined criteria ...with the requirement of a 75% probability that the submission being qualified for the song library of the app will be accurate enough to be useful for learning the song … And I’m a tech genius so that particular way of doing it maybe the worst idea ever but some sort of way to take the nonsense out of the app and leave us with stuff that we could actually use I me when the app exist for no other reason in the world but divide people with a way to type in a song name and get back to print out in a simplified form of sheet music to use as a tool to learn how to play song that you don’t already know so it seems really ridiculous to me that there are as many pure crap versions that can’t possibly do any of those things if a version is printed on this app that is somewhat all the way to completely in accurate then you can obviously use that as a way to learn how to play that song because with whatever you’re learning how to play by following that music on that temperature for an out it’s not the song that you searched I just think that occurs to often throughout this song library and this app
  • So simple, just perfect

    By PokeymanMasta27
You type in the song you wanna learn, and then boom, it’s there. Granted some songs aren’t on here due to popularity but the app is pretty straightforward and it’s great! Especially when the big fix updates happen.

  • Paid once, features removed, asked to pay again

I paid for a full version of this app several years ago and after regular updates I now find that features that were included before now require a subscription. Being able to auto - scroll as well as transpose chords used to be included. Very annoying and it’s a total bait-and-switch.
