  • Issues don’t show up

    By ZachF123
I get a message that “There are no issues available. Please check your internet connection and try again later.”
  • Good but with bugs

    By AjG2018
The app freezes often with the audio version. The design is nice and easy to navigate
  • Comprehensive, objective, source of news

    By seattleshirley
I turn to the Economist weekly for both national and international news. I am wearied by US television news sources, each which carries its own version of the truth, conditioned by political motivations. I am therefore limiting televised news, and am relying primarily on the Economist for trusted, comprehensive, factual reporting. Thank you for your honesty and effort. Independent, fact-based, news media is critical to a healthy democracy.
  • Reader review

Well thought out articles with opinion usually clearly stated. Factual information seems mostly unaffected by editor bias . A refreshing journal of global issues.
  • Dual brain action

    By Bellco90
The best feature by far in the app is the ability to listen to a news topic while simultaneously reading another topic! This method allows for double knowledge absorption. In addition, the app is SO easy to use and manage! Hands-down my favorite news app, even above CNN! 💁🏽‍♂️
  • Audio experience is still a wreck

    By vpribish
The economist content is fantastic, but the audio version and embarrassing failure. It halts, crashes, the pause button is desynced easily, it loses your spot, forgets the speed setting. The progress slider is terrible, audio quality is not as good as it was. This is table-stakes stuff for a world class publication but you are failing so hard that I hesitated to recommend it to others!
  • Worse with every update

    By Alr3adY Tak3n!
The content is excellent. Audio options are great and the British accents make it complete. Why does this app make it so hard to listen? The list of bugs and glitches just keeps getting longer with every new update. Please fix it, or better yet, stop trying to fix things because you are making it worse. Just quit and go back three or four versions.
  • Love the economist.

The best magazine in the market today. Keep it up and thank you.
  • A decent app for an excellent newspaper

    By CollegeGamer
The app is reasonably easy to use, although it is a bit old looking. The content is great. I really like how all the articles can be listened to although I don’t like that functionality to fast forward and pause recordings of articles is not provided
  • A world view vs the daily talking heads of US

    By Biden2020
There is a lot going on in the world and the US we pay too much attention to claims and counterclaims of our political system. Economist is readable and informative – not that common in today’s sources of news
