  • Can’t zoom view on iPhone XS

Watching Star Trek Discovery, the screen is letterboxed on all four sides and can’t be zoomed to fill the screen. The image uses only a fraction of the total screen real estate on the iPhone — it’s maddening to watch such a small view on a screen that is so much larger. Why?? CBS, please enable screen zooming to fill the screen on all devices. Thank you.

I like the content, but there are some serious problems with the app trying to download and store shows for later.I have to force close the app quite a bit. Works fine streaming.

It’s way better than the ABC app and my favorite shows are Magnum P.I., Happy Together, and The Neighborhood

I don't know why I even tried this. EVERY other network has a free app with free episodes (some limit those episodes to 3/day if you don't have a tv provider to sign into, but still FREE) CBS is the ONLY network that does not offer you anything for free. I think the person who gave them 5 stars with some bs about not wanting to Netflix to have a monopoly on paid tv, was the developer! Check out ABC, NBC, Fox, Fx, the CW, literally any other network that you don't have to pay a premium for in tv package and you'll see how CBS should be doing it.

App is no longer working properly. Videos either do not play or freeze On my iPad fourth generation. I am having no issue using the CBS app on my iPhone or another iPad. I do not have the CBS or access app I do not pay for it and I have not had a problem until three weeks ago

The only reason I’m paying for this app on a month to month basis is so I can stream Star Trek:discovery. The show is mostly great! This review isn’t about that... This app is terrible. For $10/month, cbs needs to get their act together. What a piece of garbage. Between a sign up process that freezes and is confusing as a result. I am on iPhone XR and the videos don’t fill the screen...seriously?? Who allows this to get through the App Store?? Also, add a button to scroll 10 seconds forward. So annoying. Nobody pays attention to intros. It’s an obnoxious and dated form of advertising. Netflix figured this out several years ago. On the bright side, I haven’t had any streaming quality/consistency issues. The video quality is excellent and it never is choppy, except when scrolling ahead in the video. Finish making the app compatible and fully supported on iPhone X screens and add some functionality and I’ll gladly change my mind.

I am only writing to hopefully get a response. I actually like the app, but where are there all the seasons of shows? I pay for the app to watch my favorite shows. NCIS Los Angeles is my favorite show and yet you only have season 10. I am just hoping that you have a great answer, bc I can just have regular access and be fine watching live for free.
