  • Problem with highlight on iOS

I primarily use the app to take notes using the highlight feature. Works tremendously on Android but I think there is this bug on iOS that only makes me see 50 of my highlights (instead of the 100s that I have). Tried reaching out to support more than once but to no avail.
  • Changed my way of reading

This app has become my favorite. Reading nonfiction may not be as enjoyable as fiction. But Blinklist just hit the spot. Only less than 15 minuets a book and you’re totally getting a brand new point of view.
  • Great idea! Pricey execution.

I love the idea of this app, as I often find myself interested in reading a book, but never having enough time to read it. This app highlights the main ideas of books and gets specific, which is hard to do. I just wish it was a bit more affordable on a monthly basis because many, including myself, cannot drop $80 at once, even though it does turn out to be rather cheap when looked at on a monthly basis.
  • So far so good

I’ve only used it for about an hour but it’s easy-user friendly, good quality, professional and sort of like a fast track version of audible.
  • Concept sounds good but I didn’t get value from it

I liked the concept and decided to subscribe. The only subscription option was for a year. I listened to a few books a few books I had read and realized that summaries didn’t capture the books very well. I cancelled two weeks in but since the subscription is for a year they got me for $70. I feel ripped off.
  • Cool with room for improvements

Pretty cool app, sometimes the summaries seem very limited (the signal and the noise, thinking fast and slow) and sometimes they are really great (7 habits of highly effective people). Some books are probably just inherently easier to summit, some indication as to how well it works to summarize the book. Also I experienced some bugs with play order.
  • Get real - You won’t even let me DELETE you

    1
    By RiverBorn
After receiving an insulting email from “Emily” from this app - who stated I should get my sh*t together after being lazy all summer - I tried to delete it. Was directed to write DELETE in caps in a little box. Did this over and over. But, DELETE apparently doesn’t work for your insulting company, even when ask somebody to “yell” the word at you in uppercase letters. Get your sh*t together, please.

Does not let me cancel my membership
  • Free trial doesn’t work

    2

The free trial on this app doesn’t work and is buggy. You start the trial , it subscribes you but than says there’s a payment error, a non existent payment error. There’s nowhere online to find support easily, like the novel idea of an email. Would like to try but seems to have fundamental tech issues.
  • Too short to accurately summarize

After reading the real thing and comparing to the summary, some major points were missing. It’s better to just read the original and be patient, let the information sink in bit by bit.
