  • The Best golf app, two suggestions

    By Dozercv1000
Great Golf App, I’ve tried many and this is the best. Suggestions. Add to the top level the current stokes to Par +/-, ie +3. This way I don’t have to look at the scorecard and do the math real-time. Change the round summary. Selecting a previous round it shows % GIR and % Putts. I’d rather see for example 8/18 GIR and 33 Putts then 44% GIR and 1.83 Putts. In the current version I have to go to the scorecard to get the data.
  • Terrible software

    By ahjyfhuu
Does not advance to next hole. Gives ridiculous club selections. One hole gives 9 iron off tee then 224 yards to hole on second shot. Give me a break.
  • Great App

I’ve tried a number of these golf apps over the years and this one is at the top of my list. I use it to quickly keep my score and a few stats and at the end just bang... and I post it to GHIN. I like the ability to quickly zoom in on a hole and see how far a bunker is or water. It is very nicely designed.
  • Bien. Falla un poco con el AW

Muy bueno, muy completo. Excelente app
  • Needs more detailed stat tracking options

    By Alanmcb
To truly pull ahead from the other big golf apps, Golfshot needs to add more stat options such as club used on approach, side missed, distance to pin/green strike quality, chip/putt distances, as well as a strokes gained calculator. UI is great, especially for the GPS (one note is that the zoom function is too limited). Would also like to store hole-by-hope notes for a single round, rather than keep playing notes from past rounds.
  • Hassle after hassle...

    By Irishmist120
Had the trial then the monthly; after a month changed to annual BUT they billed me for both annual & monthly for 5 months; got 3 mo refund... but the the annual stopped working and they want an upgrade to the monthly plan or annual plan I ALREADY HAVE. Messaged them, no reply. Now contacting Pain in The A apple support..

Love being able to do everything I need for my golf game in one place. Tee times, scoring, Handicaps, stats, and awesome GPS. I’ve tried lots of apps and Golfshot continues to be the best.
  • This is the golf GPS app to get

    By Bogey_Bob
I tried this app ( golf shot) and Golflogix for a couple months. I live on a course and play 3-5 days a week at least 9 holes so it was a fair number of rounds played with both alternating which one I played that day GPS The GPS and maps on both were attractive and the signal was responsive. I preferred the way that the screen was laid out on Golfshot it was less cluttered. I just want distance to the hazards and my lay up points. Golfshot did that better Scoring This is a big one. How easy is it to score on the electronic scorecard ? Does it allow different games other than stroke ? How easy to navigate the scorecard ? I found Golfshot much easier as it had a better game flow of how I score and play. Extras Golfshot has AR and Golflogix had putting with directional ( arrows) information. I tried both and did not find either very useful for myself. The AR was a bit quirky as it has to be oriented to the pin and often in the morning the sun was at the horizon and made it impossible to use The Golflogix putting was not much help. It shows the flow indicated by arrows. Sure the contours ( slope) are important but less so in my game as I tend to putt with a open putter face and line up a bit too open which causes most my misses. The AR feature is included and putting is an added cost. Allowing me to post to GHIN inside the app is a great feature of Golfshot. The club tracking is great too so I can record how far on the course I hit the ball with each club and it then collects the data. Really helps with club selection. Golfshot has some tips videos that you can watch too that is not a mandatory addon. But I like it and it’s a single annual fee vs monthly Cost Golfshot is a bit cheaper and more things I use. Then there is the issue of why pay for a full featured app when I can get 80% of it for free ? This is a good point. There are some really good apps that are a 100% free. They have advertisements or perhaps some other revenue generation model. For myself the data I collect from tracking , ease of games, posting and navigation improvements. Allowing me to select targets distance is a big help and the free ones I tried don’t allow it. The Apple Watch integration is so nice. It’s a bit reason why I don’t use the other option a range finder. It’s another thing I have to carry. The watch is on me. I go to the ball look at my wrist and get the distance , pick the club and give it a wack. It’s really made me play faster as there is no look through the range finder , find the target get the range , clip back on bag etc. A subscription model allows improvements and they do pretty regular updates. So the winner for myself is Golfshot. Things I would hope to see Allow me the setup my phone horizontally and watch my bugaboo putting stroke to see if square , path etc. maybe full swing too. Allow me to select pictures from my camera Roll to post or save on the “ star rating “ page. Allow me to set from app preferences what my defaults are from aggressive caddy to yardage markers ( maybe my best shot is a 75 yard sand wedge and I want to set that range as a default)
  • Best golf app ever!

I use it for every round. I appreciate the way you keep track of my statistics. I really love, at the end of the round, I'm able to post my score directly to the USGA
