  • Change info

I cannot put my contact name in the form. For some reason it has some commercial info on it. How can I change this? Thank you! Pookinspoo
  • Really helpful and reassuring

    By Aderpymuffin
Well, it’s free again. I can’t help but feel this was a good change. Even though nothings happened to me yet it’s reassuring to have something like this in my pocket. My primary problem with this app was that you had to pay for this safety. Although yes it has a premium, the premium includes Alexa. Although I probably won’t get Alexa anytime soon it would be great to have that ability if I had one. Great app.

  • honestly great

so, i downloaded this app & keep my subscription on the off chance that i would actually need it. just to be safe. and i’ll be honest w you—i haven’t needed it. that’s not why i’m making this review. im making it because last night, i fell asleep w my phone on. in my sleep, i accidentally went on the app and pressed the button down. the app text me four times, called me twice, and my local police department called. i was asleep, and obviously didn’t hear it, so i didn’t answer. i woke up to my dad and two police officers in my room, and more outside searching my neighborhood. now, obviously this experience sucked because it’s 6 in the morning and all of the police force rolled up at my house, but i’m making this review because i know it works. and i know that had that been a real emergency, i would’ve been okay. and im so thankful for this app & all that it’s doing.
  • Response to “Safety isn’t free”

    By Taiga.A.
I’ve actually felt way safer by using this app. But let’s be honest, You can call 911 for free. Not only that but I found an interesting article, which says: “Reaching the Authorities in an Emergency. Sometimes a defunct cell phone will still be able to call 911. In order for the phone to call 911, it has to have a working signal. It does not have to have a contract with a carrier (meaning you can't call any other number and can't receive calls)” You can also ask Siri to call emergency services and they’ll transfer you within 3 seconds by just activating “Hey Siri” Police usually would call back or track down the number and send someone to check up on the location, even if it was a call by mistake. The app is for a good cause and I’m thankful it’s up there but I don’t think you should take advantage of people’s safety to make an income. Not everyone has $3 to spare. I barely have a dollar in change myself and have basically a very tight budget. For all you know, they could be using a government phone because they can’t afford to pay for a phone service. There’s a case of a woman who was preventing an intruder from entering her house because she was afraid he would hurt her daughter. She went on to call the police and he broke into the room and the dispatcher told her to say she had the police on the line. It still didn’t prevent her from being sexually abused by the man. Not every safety method is 100% successful. I say stick to using voice command to call emergency services on your device.
  • Saved me

Sometimes domestic cases re complicated. If you educate women on how to use this, it could save lives. Physically and mentally. They need to be prepared. Maybe one day we can educate women to take precautions in case of danger. Sincerely, Christine Sorrentino 845-863-5995
