Fantastical is my iPhone calendar of choice. It is more colorful, easier to search, and scrolls better than the iPhone app.

I’ve been using Fantastical for Lord knows how many years. I’ve tried others out of curiosity, but none compare. Not to say Fantastical hasn’t had a few bumps in the road, but overall it’s an incredible app.

This is my go to calendar on my I-phone. Easy to use and I like being able to have my work schedule going on and on. My schedule is always the same every two weeks. So it was easy to program it to self replicate every two weeks without having to put in each week.

Are use this on my iPhone and my Apple computer. I’ve been using it for years and it’s far superior than Apple’s calendar and it’s the best calendar I found.

I've been using the app across all my devices and love it. Just one request, I'd love to be able to see my free time between events for easier planning in the agenda view. I think this could be really useful.

This nails the best combination of ease of use and flexibility with a great user interface.
  • Remains overrated

This app needs a total reworking towards an intuitive UE: There is no monthly calendar as such, which means you can't see groups or patterns of exact entries — e.g., see Calendars 5 or also, on the iPhone, the Google calendar for what an intuitive monthly view should look like; bars on the weekly view are useless — who knows what they communicate; and, empty days don't show in the list, adding to the confusion. It's an app that fails at being quick and intuitive. If you want a dot/agenda calendar just use the native iOS calendar, use Reminders, and save your money. (But, Fantastical does have a good widget.)

I had always used the stock calendar app on every iPhone/Mac/iPad that I had ever owned. I thought it was the best calendar that I could use...that was until I came across Fantastical 2. I know the stock app lets me put all my calendars together just like Fantastical 2, but where the stock app fall short is on the natural language integration. I’m able to type my events in plain English and Fantastical 2 will create my event in a snap! It keeps me organized and allows me not worry about whether or not my app syncs across each device. Highly recommend this app!!!
