Easy to use, Siri shortcut is amazing, smooth. I like this app so much.
  • Needs Dark Mode

Pretty much everything about this app is great. It’s stable, the animations are great, dragging and dropping a events and task onto new days on the calendars is awesome, and it’s great that it integrates with apple reminders. But come on, it’s seriously time to add a dark mode to the Calendar screen. It’s just too white and hard to see colors on that white background.
  • Everything I’ve Been Looking for in a Calendar App!

For years I used Calvetica calendar until support for later iOS versions was dropped. I then bought Calendars by Readdle which was a good app, but it lacked the dual mini-month / daily list split-view that is absolutely essential to me. I’ve only found a few Calendar apps that actually offer this dual view, and most (if not all) of them want recurrent monthly/annual fees. For some odd reason I never saw this app in the App Store when I searched for “Calendar”, but fortunately I stumbled across it while searching for a Calvetica update. The one-time fee makes it a great choice and the app does everything my obsolete Calvetica app did and more. Hats off to the developer! 😃

I’ve tried using this app for the past 24 hours and have already found several things I like: -the dark background -the scrolling days across the top -easy to get back to today -being able to set google apps as defaults to follow links, maps, etc -being able to set the icon to show the current date -having events and reminders in the same app/calendar (google calendar does this, but I couldn’t figure out how to do it with the iPhone calendar) -more options for organizing reminders -the simple pull down window shade action to see the month and to go back to schedule view (iPhone calendar kept me guessing what view would pop up and how to get back) -seems to fit my needs in a calendar app and is visually more interesting than others -I have a feeling I’ll discover other things I like as I use it more

Been trying to love Fantastical, but the "natural language" approach ignores how humans actually use the app. Trying to move / update events from lat week of December '19 to January '20. Seems like a simple operation, right? Nope! Each time I complete one of these changes, the event is ERASED. Poof! Gone. Forever. Disappeared. Search function can't find them either. Have to re-enter each one manually. Not good.
  • Show date on App icon

I’ve been using fantastical for a few years now. Solid app. My main complaint is that you must open the app to see today’s date. Why can’t you show today’s date right in the app Icon on the phone instead of launching the app? Hope it’s something to bat can be remedied with an update. I’m sure I’m not the only one who feels this way. Other than that great calendar app with integration with reminders.
  • One important lack: only 1 alarm per event

On other calendar apps you can set two alarms. Thus you can have e.g., a 1 day warning and a 15 minute warning. Fool-proofs a lot of events. Wish you had this.
  • It's a calendar app

I really don't get the hype. It's a calendar app. It doesnt do anything magical or mysterious. It shows you your calendar. It's not bad, but I don't get people raving about it.
  • Don’t get this app.

I’ve had this app for over a month now and have been an avid user of it for all of my appointments, meetings, and reminders. I’d read so many people’s reviews and articles on how this app is so different and better than any other calendar app. I’m deeply disappointed that I wasted $4.99 on an app that does the same things google calendar does for free for me. I have since deleted this app bc it takes unnecessary space on my phone. Don’t get this app.
