The paid version is way better than the free one.

Overall it’s a great app. I don’t think you should have to pay to learn about your baby’s development when there plenty of other apps that offer the same great videos and lessons. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

  • Push notifications shame you for using your phone

Pretty lame that this app shames you for using your phone. I chose when and why to use my phone- I don’t need an app to annoy me about screen time. The activities were not very well correlated with my child’s development, nor were they that inventive. Not worth it. Glad the push notification annoyed me enough to unsubscribe.

I never had this with my kids in the 80’s. This is a very good idea, I like it for my grand kids!
  • Ok features. Serious lacks of diversity

Our baby isn’t born yet so I haven’t had the chance to dive into all the features. I don’t have a whole lot to go off of in the prenatal section. I will note I’m untrustworthy off apps that seem to market to a specific demographic. I’m sure this will go directly over the developer’s head, but it’s odd when you can advertise hundreds of articles and photos and not ONE looks like my family or baby. That can’t be a coincidence. Even the avatar is exclusive. It makes me feel you’ve put limited thought into identifying with your diverse consumers. I can’t support apps, or refer others to apps like this no matter how good your features may be.

So I decided to get this app after seeing an ad for it. I downloaded it and after taking the 15min survey about my DD's development the first game they gave me free was one in which I dangle a toy in front of her while in her crib to encourage her to stand and grab the toy. When I took the survey i CLEARLY indicated that my baby has already taken her first steps without assistance. She is beyond this development stage. If this was the first free game why would I want to pay for a subscription for them to make money off me for areas in my daughters life that she has already surpassed?? Also after seeing the game offered the next day, I've come to the conclusion that this isn't work 89.99. Parents can do their own free research to develop their children.

I’m a special educator and once worked as a developmental therapist. I love this app! I love that if the suggested activities are not appropriate you can answer a simple question to have it replaced. The activities are things I would see physical therapists and other specialists use with their clients. I’m thoroughly impressed by this app, and I’m so glad I found it to have a variety of tasks to use with my son to help with his minor delays.
