This app is my life-saver. I can save material from the web, deal with at my need or leisure. The more I use it, the more ways I find to use it.
  • Actually 19.98!!!

    By whatjuliethinks
If you want to actually EDIT a PDF file you have to pay 9.99 AGAIN after the initial 9.99 for the app. False Marketing!!!
  • Color customization

    By MArkymarc.024
Please add pastel colors! It would better if we can choose our own hue. Thank you
  • Great at start but getting worse

    By Bikeridinghouse
I greatly enjoyed using this application until it started to crash every 5 minutes. (I am a pro user by the way) I’m not sure if this is due to an update, but this is serious enough to make me consider a different application. Hope you guys fix this promptly. Also, when copying and pasting text block, math notations usually get cut and dislocated up-to a point it is not readable.
  • Unless you want to upgrade do not buy this

    By xray1936
This app hijacks other document files that are not PDFs when you open them and lets you read them but not edit them and offers a code to up grade. Kind of a sketchy ploy.
  • Love it but...

    By nkmong
I love love love this app. One thing I feel is missing, as a grad student, is when I use the pens as a highlighter for PDFs that aren’t recognizable text the lines are too small. Such a small thing that would really improve my user experience. Please increase the maximum size of the pens
  • Not Worth the Money

    By ermgawd88123
Still buggy as heck, the most annoying one? DOES NOT WORK WELL WITH APPLE PENCILS!!!!!! IT CONSTANTLY FORGETS thats Apple pencil is connected, so sometimes when you’re using one finger scrolling, you end up drawing a huge line down your notes.......... Cost the MOST $ of the pdf annotators...and yet somehow buggiest with apple pencil..... >_> 4/21/19 update still does this.....
  • Quality declining

I have been using this app for about 3 years now, l recently upgraded my phone to an Iphone Xs, and since then, this app has been crashing on me quite often. It is frustrating since l depend on it to do my job and it’s slowing me down. I hope it gets fixed soon, otherwise, l may need to switch to a different more efficient application.
  • Almost Perfect (Highlighter Issue)

    By UC Berkeley Golden Bear
I just started using PDF Expert on my iPad with Apple Pencil, and I'm LOVING it so far. So far, I've just had one problem: for documents that cannot be successfully OCR'd, the current pen tool (when used as a highlighter by lowering the ink opacity) applies the color ABOVE the non-OCR text, which hides/mutes the black text more than I'd like (even on 25% opacity). I've noticed that other apps (e.g. Scanbot and OneNote) can apply the highlighting BELOW non-OCR text so that the text is on the top above the highlights. Are there plans to include this dedicated highlighter marker functionality (that applies highlighting UNDER non-OCR text)? This would make PDF Expert the perfect app for me! Thank you so much!!!
  • Open on all my devices every day

This is one of the most useful apps I have. The feature set is extremely strong and the cross device integration is excellent. Support is also top-notch with quick and helpful responses. The most recent upgrade was one of the few things I suggested and now they’ve taken care of that. If you work with PDFs you should get this app. Plain and simple. Actually, even if you don’t work for PDFs you should still consider it. There’s a good chance that you haven’t used them because it’s been such a pain in that with this great software you’ll start using them now. Furthermore, if you have an iPad Pro this app should come installed. It’s that good. I can promise it will be on your front screen (probably dock) and you will be using it every day. Features I specially love: (1). The ability to easily drag and drop images to re-order or add to a PDF. (2) The ability to quickly and seamlessly move between devices. (3) The ease of annotating with an Apple Pencil, using highlight, various colors, opacity, and pencil width. It’s excellent. I always end reviews with suggestions for improvement. These guys have me stuck because it’s just that good. Only two: 1) A full range of color selections for highlights and pen. In other words, a full color palette with infinite choices rather than the pre-selected colors they give now. 2) Using split screen (iPad) doesn’t quite work right. If you change orientation or move the slider bar between the apps it will usually close the document. That can sometimes be a legitimate pain. That’s it. Thanks for the excellent app guys and your amazing work! Fantastic update.
