  • Good product, could be better

Good product. Good be better. For what I use it for it’s great. I just needed a few gauges my car doesn’t have and don’t want to install gauge pillar for. Data logging is a bit confusing to use as are almost of all the features. However take time to explore it and it’s not to bad. Wish it had a few more things though. But not bad. I’m not upset paying more than double the cost for it because the speed at which it displays info.
  • Good App needs some updating

    By PC Gamer24
This is a good app I’m been using the app on my previous cars I’ve owned as helped me troubleshoot problems and fix problems But when I got my new truck I noticed that my truck is not listed and it needs some updating because my 2018 Honda Ridgeline is not listed in Vehicle Editor in app settings It even saved the day on our vacation when my mom‘s 08 Acura MDX alternator died halfway through our trip I pulled out the code scanner plugged it in and I noticed no voltage coming from alternator and the battery voltage was below 12 volts I would also like to be able to read Honda special codes like ABS and SRS and transmission trouble codes in the future This tool is quite handy I keep in my car all the time when I get a check engine light come on simply plug it in within minutes found the code googled the code and a solution online to fix the problem Yes to the code scanner is expensive but it has saved me hundreds of dollars in repair and doing the repairs myself instead of going to the dealer or a repair shop Please add a feature to the store Store multiple vehicles profiles.
  • No help found

Never wrote a bad review before trying to find a resolution. I have a Range Rover and wanted to reset codes and reset my Service Interval Light and this is no help. No customer support found and no data to help me. Garbage ...
  • Great device but....

I just got the mx+ today and it’s pretty awesome what it can do! Very awesome!!! I just wish the app was a bit more user friendly. It’s very very confusing on what does what and how to change the color or the gauges and what not. Please work on it

I do my own vehicle maintenance from engine building to spark plug changes. However the newer vehicles have made it tougher to diagnose problems. This OBD link has solved that problem and makes it very easy to determine what is going on with my vehicles. Very simple to use and very effective! Thank you

  • Ok toy but...

If you just want to play around and you can find a sale it’s a neat toy. If you want a tool with enhanced diagnostics this isn’t it. $10 per model year for each manufacturer. There are other similar devices with more functionality that include the enhanced diagnostic info for free.
  • Works Great, Enhanced Diagnostics are awesome

I have been a Torque Pro user for years and do really love it, but my work uses iPhones and there was really no equivalent for a long time. I just bought an OBDLink MX+ and decided to try this app again after a few years and it’s great. Very similar setup to Torque, but what really differentiates it is the Enhanced PIDs. I downloaded the 2014 Ford add-on for my F150 Ecoboost and the list of Ford specific PIDs just in the PCM section is huge. It can see all sorts of other modules as well. My only big complaint is that there are no add-ons for Chrysler/Jeep which I would love to have for my diesel Liberty. Also, if you made this Apple CarPlay/Android Auto compatible it would be EPIC!
  • Big data small package!

This little thing kicks butt and it doesn’t require batteries. I like that I can see transmission oil temperature so I can change the fluid in my wife’s Toyota Sienna.

Just realized that the tool and app do not read all codes. To read more codes they want $10 per year per make. Very high. you only figure out it won’t read all code until it doesn’t show codes you know are there. If you want all years of Toyota for example , they charge $220, but the computer version for all years is $80. WTH! Excessive
