Shortcuts for PC Description

Siri Shortcuts deliver a quick way to get things done with your apps with just a tap or by asking Siri. The Shortcuts app enables you to create personal shortcuts with multiple steps from your favorite apps. Start from hundreds of examples in the Gallery or drag and drop to create your own.  Shortcuts includes over 300 built-in actions and works with many of your favorite apps including Contacts, Calendar, Maps, Music, Photos, Camera, Reminders, Safari, Health as well as any app that supports Siri Shortcuts.  Use the Shortcuts app to: * Get directions home, send your ETA and start listening to the news, just by asking Siri * Add a home screen icon that calls a loved one  * Make animated GIFs * Make PDFs from Safari or any app with a share sheet * Get directions to the nearest coffee shop in one tap * Tweet the song you're listening to * Get all of the images on a web page * Send a message including the last screenshot you took * And so much more... Shortcuts can be launched from the Today widget, from Search or by asking Siri. You can even add an app icon to your home screen for your favorite Shortcuts.  Shortcuts opens up incredible possibilities to automate things you do regularly on your iPhone and iPad.

  • Has potential if Apple lets it.

In typical Apple fashion, they purchase a product with great potential and then stifle it. There has been no improvement over the previous workflow app. There isn’t a place to give suggestions. The gallery is lacking useful examples. I have made close to 30 shortcuts, so I like the app but there is still so much that it lacks. I’m not very hopeful that they will improve upon it do to Apples’ recent history of making app purchases or launching mediocre services and then ignoring them.

Honestly, why add more work — a Shortcut with the required setup — when most apps and Siri already function easily? And, I can find nothing useful in the Gallery. This is an app that answers a question I never ask.

Takes several tries to turn off Bluetooth. Just hangs up, then you get error msg. Very annoying!
  • Not working right with Safari

The search function no longer works correctly with Safari (and probably other apps too). Also crashes all the time with certain workflows. Now no point to this app. Please fix. I will look for an alternative if you don’t, and I will NOT be a return customer. 😡🤬👎🏻

Why on earth don’t you let me add a playlist to my home screen?! I know how to do it, the stinking thing keeps telling me. But when I try to do what it tells me to do, it just goes back to the web to tell me how to do it! And another thing, it really takes getting into a habit to keep using shortcuts. I actually think I’m going to delete it. Anyways, fairly good app. Does what it says it does, apart from adding shortcuts to home screen. Just check it out for yourself.

Please showcase different shortcuts from apps in the App Store, that we can use. It would make this app easier to use, so users can see a shortcut from an app that they have on their device and just tap and put it in their shortcut library.

Powerful app and it would be great if you added folders and subfolders in the library so I can organize my shortcuts

The 3 main tasks shortcut won’t list my 3 main tasks on my calendar. Just shows up with the title “what I’m working on today” with none of my tasks.
