Last night I made it to my favorite beauty supply shoppe, it's way over priced, but they have a great selection of products for me to play with and inspect. I just thought I'd share with you my purchases...
ARTec color depositing shampoo, in Walnut. My hair is brown, I've tried highlights, lowlights, and hair coloring. It's just so expensive to make my hair slightly different, I don't want to damage my hair by dyeing it at home either. Since a very slight warming of the color is desired, I find this shampoo or conditioner to do the trick. Actually, they sold out of shampoo which I normally use, so this time I got the conditioner. After one use, I can see a difference.
It's not just for brunettes either, on Make Up Alley, there were lots of blondes who love this product too... and I really feel for the blondes, it's so much work (and money...) to be one!
If you know me personally, you will know about my obsession with Botox. I really want to get it... more preventative than anything else... I'm also the woman who started freaking out about wrinkles at 23. Oy vey. Anyway, I've heard about Frownies, a natural (and cheaper) alternative... it's basically a sticker you wear on your frown that works as a splint and retrains your muscles to be in the relaxed position. I've only used it one day, and I felt a difference already, but it could be a placebo, because it takes about 30 days to work. The reviews on Make Up Alley were great on this, so I don't feel too bad about telling you about it without actually experiencing the results. I'll let you know if the product doesn't work in a month. Well, at least I'm giving the natural route a chance before I inject poison into my face.
