Last Night of Debauchery

Ever since Lulu gave a DIY on how to make your own body chain--I've wanted one. But I couldn't really think of how I would wear it with my wardrobe. This post from Kingdom of Style has really shown me the light. Hardcore body chains layered over top of white shift dresses? Yes, please! I hit the town last night with my two best girls from this summer. I don't know when or if we will ever go out again together. It was fun, but we always seem to attract the crazies. For example, one friend, K, was asked by a man if she could take her shoes off so he could see if she was "too tall for him." Sorry, short, drunken man, she's just too attractive for you and height has nothing to do with it. K and I were also harassed by a man who wanted a picture of us and insisted it was because we looked like the Romanian gymnasts from the Olympics. Seriously? Did you cook that one up before you came out?

    I went up for another bit of hike on "the mountain" (Mt. Rainier) since my sister has come to visit us here for a little while. We had gloriously perfect weather and the sky was brilliant, so this time around we could see the peak while on our walks. I really enjoy the variety of scenery you can see: meadows filled with wildflowers, canyons, waterfalls, rocky peaks, etc.

Being a very young Labbit, this is her first Christmas and her first snow. Although Christmas day is still many days away, putting Nasha to bed every night is a burden.

    I think I'm going to roll out of Athens weighing twice as much as I did when I first came and if so, the culprit will definitely be Leonidas chocolates. I walk past the store every day on the way to class and nearly every day I stop in to try a different treat and pilfer from the sample dish. Lately, I seem live off a diet of white chocolate and fruit--my roommates might be getting concerned...
  • My Fickle Heart
    I am usually a very steadfast individual, however I must confess to a fickle heart. My loves and passions (in regards to accessories) are quite frequent and fleeting. In this moment, it is quite easy to name the love of my life: a new pair of black shoes that lace at the ankle to embrace my foot. With a firm grasp clasp me tight and I feel my feet rise off the ground.
