Obsessed with Excess

Obsessed with excessive layering. Key pieces involved: wide, tapered, rolled up pants. Constructed and unconventionally cut jackets and skirts. Ruffled and draped dresses. An abundance of accessories and embellishments at just the right places.

I love Sô-En (荘園), because in this regard they are the No.1 inspiration.

  • I am a lazy bum. I said I wanted to dress comely again, but all I have done is literally living in this one particular sweater. Been dressing it up and down, been wearing it with various variations, been holding talks, been baking brownies, been sleeping in it. I am a lazy bum.
  • So this was my trip to Viet Nam. There is so much I could say about it, but words will never suffice to sum up the impressions this place leaves in me. Still counted as a Third World Country it is steadily on its rise, I can see it shining already.

I was just hanging with my Taiwanese and Japanese friends in my room, and we touched upon the topic of how much Taiwanese love camwhoring. And boy! yes! They obviously do.
  • Young designer Vika Gazinskaya is top target for street style hunter for over more than a year now. I was stunned by how many pictures my images.google.com-search yielded. She can do it both, fierce, and modern romantic, and she does both extremely well. Her amazing sharp short hair helps!
  • I just thought of something to make this white sweater-shirt I dropped make-up on wearable again. See, you don't see the make-up spot anymore, it's somewhere hidden in the folds I draped and sewed on.

  • I love what I have in my inspiration folder. I really need to get it sorted and rekindle the picked pics aspect of this blog again.
