
The Daily Mail Suggests that Victoria Beckham has made a skinny influence on her friends. Sources say that Victoria and her actress friend Eva Longoria were seen out to dinner at LA's Chateau Marmont hotel.
The glamorous pair chatted and sipped white wine but barely touched their food.
"They had bruschetta and an artichoke dip on the table, but I never saw Eva eat a thing," said one eyewitness. Victoria reportedly "nibbled", but only a little.
Perhaps Beckham's eating habits have rubbed off on her friends including Kate Holmes, Tom Cruise and Fellow Spice Girl members who have all recently lost weight. When the Spice Girls were photographed together recently, it was reported that no one wanted to stand next to Victoria - and it wasn't because they didn't like her. Being alongside someone as tiny as she is would make anyone look, and feel, large.Â
A recent study by the New England Journal of Medicine suggests that obesity is socially contagious, and you can catch it from friends the way you catch a virus. But does it work the other way?
