I've been absolutely impressed with the amount of street cred my fringed bag from H&M injects into any outfit I wear. I can throw on the shlubbiest of sweatshirts with a pair of broken skinny jeans, a pair of heels and the bag, and instantly I'm transformed into someone who looks like they've actually thought about what they're wearing (ha! TRICKED you). But what this actually means is that I really don't have enough standout pieces in my closet that I can mindlessly toss on. Since the fringe is working so well, I've been looking at this pair of Steve Maddens ($199 online) as a cheaper alternative to the Gucci boots from last fall's show. And can we talk about how I want to steal Agathe at Stylebytes' life? She has a pet pig for chrisssaaake.
