The Cutest Puppy Ever Blog

New blog name people! Only because I'm probably going to overlaod it with puppy photos for well into the future.
First, let's observe the naughtiness. You forget how much work a puppy is in between raising dogs. You have to keep an eye on her all the time.
Here she is throwing her bowl around, great fun, she does it with the water too. Then chewing on my vintage chenille bath mat.

I know, she is so cute! It is unbearable. Especially when she first wakes up, and she looks up at you all sweet and wiggley. Here she is chewing one of Boris' bones, which he seems to not mind sharing. He's being really sweet with her now.

Here are two sleeping photos. She has trouble getting comfortable and pouts while she tried to get to sleep. She also like to move the blankets and build a little nest. She seems to like sleeping with her head raised, as seen here against the antique stove and under the diningroom table.

  • I was flipping channels last night, and caught site of these bags on the Home Shopping channel. First off, what do they go with? They're very busy and 'crafty' looking. There's just alot going on with these bags. I could see someone, somewhere liking them though, so I really shouldn't call them ugly. But for $300-$400, they ain't pretty.
  • And it's alright to shop for yourself if it's vintage right? Because that way I am helping the environment by reusing, instead of buying new right? That's a good rationale, right? I'm pretty cheap when I buy for myself, so it's not like I'm splurging extravagantly.

  • Welcome to the 'Annual Christmas Dog Torture' !! - double the fun this year with Harlow. This is the time of the year when we torture the dogs by trying to get them to pose for a photo to use for the Fabulous Christmas card.

First snow of the year we drug them outside for some photos. Harlow was too busy trying to bite the snow and Boris was 'in a mood' - see face.

  • It's Princess Madison Rose vs Harlow the Junkyard Bombshell in a battle of Good (Maddie) vs Naughty (Harlow)
Maddie is about twice as tall as Harlow, but that doesn't intimidate Harlow, she's a toughie.
Fun was had by all, and Harlow didn't hump Maddie's head this time, although that one photo looks like she was getting ready to!

  • I know that I can't be the only one who ends up buying little stuff for herself when she is suppose to be Christmas shopping for others. Although I don't know how I ended up searching 'mermaid' on etsy, because no one I know would want anything mermaid for Christmas except for me!
Here are some cute little inexpensive goodies that I found and bought on etsy recently -

  • She has spots everywhere! On her belly, on her fanny, on the bottom of her feet. Everyday she has darker and bigger spots.

  • Here we are on the ride home, with baby asleep on my lap. I used a pee-pee pad this time, since Boris peed on me on the way home when we went to get him.
(I'm wearing one of my favorite vintage dresses. I wanted to wear a special one to go get her. Whenever I see the jacket that I wore to get Boris it brings back that day)
  • Some recent goodies that I bought with Christmas money. First - two awesome-sweet purses that are waaaaaaaaaaytoo small to hold all my crap. I've recently tried to minimize what I carry in my purse but I still can't ditch the 'What if' items. You know, the things that you feel the need to carry just in case you might need them.

  • I'm a big fan of fancy enamel top tables. You know about the kitchen set that I got for Christmas last year (I still haven't got all the chairs painted yet)

Here are two that I spotted locally recently.

  • Harlow went in this morning to be spayed and to get a tummy tuck on her little hernia. It was a long, quiet day without her. But she's home now, as you can see!
She's supposed to wear the cone to keep her from trying to get at the stitches, but she is so stumpy that she can't reach around to get anywhere near them, so we've since taken the collar off.

  • Very cute 5 inch long mermaid with black hair and blue eyes. I have no idea how old she is. I bought a group of them and I don't know anything about their background and when they were actually made. But I don't think it was made recently.
Handpainted and signed on the back 'Neola Jay' Her tail is a very cool pale green with green and gold specks. She is hollow and has a shiny glaze.
