  • I should be throwing some last things into my suitcase to prepare for a friend who is driving me to the airport in 20 minutes. Yikes! But like a true addict, I just wanted to throw one post out before I depart. These pictures were taken at the community garden on my campus. Students choose what to plant and then work in it year round. Now our cafeteria actually purchases some of their produce.

  • I've been playing around a bit lately. Experimenting with cloning on my pictures is a new hobby to keep me occupied.

  • I love Face Hunter. He has an established array of photographs that have been featured in magazines like French Elle and Vice. The style's he captures tend to be a bit funkier that the Satorialist. I find true inspiration in his choice of street style. So I suggest, if you haven't already, to go check it out!

  • I am quite literally jumping for joy right now. My visa has arrived and everything is official--I am studying abroad this fall. I fly on the 22nd (so soon!)...to Greece! Ah yes, this is going to be good.

    In regards to that, I'm not certain what will become of the blog. I will continue blogging, but will probably be more erratic, especially during the first few weeks.
  • While I tend to tire of sculptures (even ancient ones), paintings, and other forms of art, photography is one medium I find endlessly appealing. Right now, thanks once again to Foto_Decadent, I have found another photographer to obsess over: Will Sanders.

  • We've said goodbye to another year and while the current outlook might be dire, one must strive to maintain a sense of wonder and optimism. From past and present, fantastic creations love-staking contrived and photographed offer a brief escape from the real world.

  • I have some pictures to share from my first official day in Athens. We went to an area called Syntagma Square (correct me if I don't spell something correctly!) which has a number of shops and some good places to eat. My first official and completely delicious gyros in Greece was consumed here. I can still feel the party in my mouth...
