She's Here!

Here we are on the ride home, with baby asleep on my lap. I used a pee-pee pad this time, since Boris peed on me on the way home when we went to get him.
(I'm wearing one of my favorite vintage dresses. I wanted to wear a special one to go get her. Whenever I see the jacket that I wore to get Boris it brings back that day)

Look at the big belly! She photographs big, she's actually pretty small, only about 10 pounds.

Waking up and looking around. Are we there yet?

Meeting Boris for the first time.

He sniffed her, and slobbered all over her.

She likes him, although he seems a little afraid of her. She wanted to play with him. He just wanted to sniff. He keeps pushing her and knocking her over. But she handled it well.

Finally we gave them both a break and I took her upstairs for a little nap, and he went to sleep in the kitchen.

Maddie is about twice as tall as Harlow, but that doesn't intimidate Harlow, she's a toughie.
Fun was had by all, and Harlow didn't hump Maddie's head this time, although that one photo looks like she was getting ready to!

  • A few weeks ago we spotted a light grey turkey out in the yard, and today I finally managed to get a few snaps of her and some of her gal pals.
Pretty cool. I wonder how rare a grey turkey is? These gals had 1 baby turkey with them too.

  • New blog name people! Only because I'm probably going to overlaod it with puppy photos for well into the future.
First, let's observe the naughtiness. You forget how much work a puppy is in between raising dogs. You have to keep an eye on her all the time.
Here she is throwing her bowl around, great fun, she does it with the water too. Then chewing on my vintage chenille bath mat.

We aren't set on a name yet, I'm still liking Harlow.

First snow of the year we drug them outside for some photos. Harlow was too busy trying to bite the snow and Boris was 'in a mood' - see face.

  • Very cute 5 inch long mermaid with black hair and blue eyes. I have no idea how old she is. I bought a group of them and I don't know anything about their background and when they were actually made. But I don't think it was made recently.
Handpainted and signed on the back 'Neola Jay' Her tail is a very cool pale green with green and gold specks. She is hollow and has a shiny glaze.

  • I've been bidding again (there are still good buys to be made from good sellers on ebay)
Bidding is no big deal for me actually, I bid alot. But I get outbid most of the time because I am cheap. It doesn't upset me though, because at least I helped the seller get a few extra $ for it. There's nothing that I'll die without.
