Customer Appreciation Sale at Sydney's Vintage Clothing. After a long hard summer of moving, opening a brick & mortar store, I am finally back into the swing of things on the web!

When I saw this editorial Vogue's March 2006, I died. Something about the photographs and the way Daria looks, like Elizabeth Taylor in Cat on a Hit Tin Roof, it got me. It inspired my junior high school prom hair years back, which, in hindsight probably wasn't the most flattering.

Because she's good.

Sadly enough, summer is coming to a close within the next month so therefore I am going to celebrate it with classic beach beauties from the 50's taken by one of my favorite photographers, Tom Palumbo.

After selling on eBay for quite some time, I decided to close my eBay store a few weeks ago. I have my own website and besides, who needs eBay anyway? I've used the past few weeks to focus more on my handcrafted things, which has actually been a nice break and a lot of fun.

Athens might be a dearth as far as thrift and vintage shops are concerned (if you know better, please point me in the correct direction), however near the fruit market we frequent we stumbled across what was promised to us as "the best flea market in Athens." Through ancient doors crammed with oddities and up a spiraling decrepit staircase to a sprawling floor packed with curiosities we wander.

I have been borrowing my father's tripod lately. The tripod was bought (along with a 35 mm camera I am also in the habit of using) several years before I was born. It's rather fascinating to use a tool that is older than I am...

If I say "modern with a vintage touch" you might think I'm talking about my wardrobe, but not at all! I'm talking about Ruche an online boutique full of sweet items worth drooling over. The clothes are really affordable and just simply lovely.

I love Face Hunter. He has an established array of photographs that have been featured in magazines like French Elle and Vice. The style's he captures tend to be a bit funkier that the Satorialist. I find true inspiration in his choice of street style. So I suggest, if you haven't already, to go check it out!

I've been playing around a bit lately. Experimenting with cloning on my pictures is a new hobby to keep me occupied.

Since I've returned home from my little evacuation excursion, I've decided to downsize my vintage clothing collection. I have so many items-some have been listed before and some have never been listed. I could list items for months and never run out of things to list.

I listed this cute little vintage 60s/70s hoot owl handbag for $45:

I should be throwing some last things into my suitcase to prepare for a friend who is driving me to the airport in 20 minutes. Yikes! But like a true addict, I just wanted to throw one post out before I depart. These pictures were taken at the community garden on my campus. Students choose what to plant and then work in it year round. Now our cafeteria actually purchases some of their produce.
