Welcome To My Dream World

"Some day you will be old enough to start reading fairy tales again." C. S. Lewis
These pictures remind me of what I used to think stars might be when I was little. And the feasiblity of reaching them as well.

In an interview on his site he stated that he sketches all his pictures out before generating the prints.

  • I definitely go through phases...from obsessions with rings, to a passion for headgear, and flings with strange stockings. If there is one infatuation I am expressing this spring it is an admiration for bright nail polish. I seem to be repainting my nails every few days and can't decide what shade to keep them for longer than that.
  • I am back at my Grandmother's for a few days before I fly across country to Washington State. She has no Internet so I'm catching snatches now and again at a public library. It is good to escape everyone once in awhile.
    Currently I am:
  • Would that I could dance among the stars all night,
I'd wear Orion's belt around my waist and call the Pleiades sisters.
Would that I could dare to be a lover fickle and untrue,
I'd hold the Moon in a tight embrace and kiss the Sun surrounded by morning dew.
If none of these is allowed to me,
Might I at least spend the evening with you?

Regardless, here are a few of my favorite snaps from my road trip which is now at an end although I am still longing for more.
